Emily has been causing quite a stir at our house the last couple of weeks. She keeps sitting in Max's SPOT.
Apparently she doesn't realize that the kids have assigned seating in our house. (Assigned by Max, that is, in spite of all the times I've said, "We DO NOT have SPOTS in our house!")
Apparently she doesn't realize that Max thinks he NEEDS to sit in his SPOT when he eats his breakfast, lunch, snack, etc.
Apparently she doesn't realize how distressing it is to Mr. Routine when she changes things around.
Actually, I'm sure she does realize how distressing it is and thinks if the SPOT is so wonderful, and worth such a fuss, she wants to sit there!

I just have to say, from your pictures your house looks awesome. Last time I was there you had the wallpapered dining room and you were just beginning to work on the powder room. You have done great. I love the wood floors.
hahahahaha! When I was a kid, we had to say "reserved" whenever we wanted a particular spot! It didn't work every time though! And then we would just pout or fight - oh, the good old days!
Siblings are there to make life "miserable" for one another. :) I thought about this post today as Tessa had a crying fit over the chair Cole decided to sit on in the middle of her playing castle. He just sat there and sucked his thumb while she cried and carried on.
