Back Seat Driver

Max pays attention when his mommy drives. He likes to give unsolicited driving advice. "Go faster, Mommy!" and "Why are you stopping?!" Are common things I hear from the back seat. Today it was, "Catch up to that trailer, Mommy!!" I was unable to follow through on this request (this is usually the case when Max is telling me how to drive). For this I was reprimanded.

Carter would get really upset if I muttered about other drivers. I couldn't even call them a jerk if they were one! It helped me a little...I still mutter from time to time. Just don't let Max talk you into running from the police! By the way, it was so cute to see Jeff walk into the chapel with those two precious kids in his arms. It warmed my heart.

Gotta love those back carseat drivers. I still remember the day I realized I had to clean up my 'driving language' when I slammed to a stop and Tyson (about three at the time)yelled "Oh SNAP" (except it was a swear word)

You can teach Max the 'naner game (every time you see a yellow car you shout out "'naner") to play in the car and it should keep him to occupied to tell you how to drive :-)
PS 'naner is a condensed word for banana

Nice, Max.
When I use the Tom Tom GPS, Tessa likes to repeat what the thing says, like I must not understand. "Turn right mom. Mo-om, turn right!" Which makes it about 8 times that I receive the same direction between the Tom Tom and Tessa. I usually have a tick by the time I get to the destination.

Typical male maybe?

Rachael and Malia are always giving me driving advice. They think just because the light turns green, I should be moving, even if I had 20 cars in front of me that have to move first!
